Tritis Cave

Tritis cave is one of the famous Mary caves that lies in Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta. The Tritis cave is unique, natural, and equipped with stalactites and stalagmites as well. In this Tritis cave, pilgrims can pray in front of Mary's virgin statue while listening to the sound of bat screams and a trickle of water from the rocks.

To reach Tritis Mary cave, the pilgrims have to walk down the street garden teak. There is a diorama spot containing the crucifixion of Christ. The pilgrims cross the roads and will stop to pray. When entering the mouth of the Tritis cave, it is silence and peace to get immediately.
The sigh of wind rubbing with teak leaves creates a beautiful and peaceful symphony. The cave is indeed suitable for devotion and contemplation. There are a lot of ornaments in addition to the Mary Virgin cave and a large crucifix as well. Simplicity in visiting Mary's cave will enjoy this, intended the pilgrim to continue to appreciate and be grateful for everything, which the Lord has already given.
