It located atop the Green (Ijo) hills in Sambirejo Village, Prambanan, Ijo Temple is the highest Hindu temple in Yogyakarta. At approximately 410 meters above sea level, it's not only a historical site but also a prime spot for stunning views of the city and the sunset.

Built between the 9th and 10th centuries during the Ancient Mataram Kingdom, Ijo Temple is a temple complex dedicated to the god Shiva.
