Prambanan Temple
Prambanan Temple is the largest Hindu temple in Indonesia and locates 17 kilometers east part of Yogyakarta. The temple was designed and built in the 9th century AD by King Belitung Maha Sambu of the Sanjaya dynasty.
The whole variety of temples within Prambanan is 333 pieces, most areas very state of unsoundness since the earthquake hit many times, notably in 1006. Dutch archeology discovered these temples in 1814, named D.E. Hans, with mostly broken.
The temple has begun to renovate in 1930 and was finished in 1991. Therefore solely of most temples have been reconditioned, as Siva, Brahma, and Visnu have. Where ever they are within the center of the Prambanan Hindu temple. The historical record is the third name of most divinity within the Hindu spiritual beliefs. God referred to as Siva is the God of destruction, Brahma is the God of creation, and Visnu God of protection.
Most of the temples were damaged during an earthquake in the 16th century, and it was barely recognizable shape. Later in the year 1811, the survey team who worked for Thomas Stamford Raffles arrived at the location of the temple and conducted research. Many stone materials were damaged and lost because buried underground and lost caused taken by local people. During the Prambanan temple redevelopment in 1930, many residents restored the stone temples and statues to be re-installed during the temple construction. Currently, the main temple is in a solid state after the renovation. Prambanan temple is one of the main temples as a holy place to worship the Hindu faith, significantly among the Hindu people who live in Yogyakarta.
